Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language summary of how Claybench handles your data. It is a working draft and will be replaced by a full policy reviewed by counsel before public launch.

What we collect

Account information (name, email), the studio data you enter (clay bodies, glazes, kilns, pieces, firings, plans), and basic usage analytics to improve the product. Payment details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we never store card numbers.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your data to anyone.
• We don’t run ads or share your buyers’ information.
• We don’t use your studio data to train models we sell.

Your data is yours

You can export everything you’ve entered in JSON and CSV at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and its data. For institutional (School) plans, we support per-student deletion and audit logging to meet FERPA obligations.

Service providers

We use a small set of trusted vendors to operate the service — hosting, payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery. They process data only to provide their service to us.
